Boat departure from Drake Bay
About a one-hour scenic boat ride along the Pacific coast to Sirena Ranger Station.

Arrive at Sirena Station
Quick briefing, sunblock on, then a guided hike through Corcovado's primary rainforest.

Hike (about 5 hours total)
Expect tapirs, peccaries, spider and squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws, and anything else the forest is feeling like showing you that day.

Lunch at the ranger station
Refuel in the middle of the jungle before the return boat.

What to bring
Closed hiking shoes you don’t mind getting wet, sandals for the boat, a lightweight long-sleeve shirt, shorts, sunblock, a refillable water bottle, and your passport.
Important note on park permits
Corcovado is limited to only 100 visitors per day. All tickets carry names and passport numbers and cannot be transferred or refunded — we need your full name and passport number at booking.
